I’m leery of planting this one out with some sources claiming hardiness only to 25F while the Irish’s claim 16F, with heavy leaf damage, but overall is a tolerant plant as evidenced by it widespread use as a crop plant grown for its fiber, cordage, in more recent years replaced by A. sisaliana. This variegated form is a gift and will stay in the pot, at least until a pup, like the one popping up center left, can be potted and grown on for awhile. Not sure where I’ll put it.
