Looking out our bedroom window the morning after at the near Chinese Windmill Palm to the left heavy with snow. Two other palms bend under snow while the neighbor’s Cherry was little effected. Just peaking out in front of it, past the roof, is my very upright growing Cornus kousa, its several competing leaders of which splayed out widely without snapping or splitting.
