A watercolor from my parents house on Lone Pine where they lived from the late ’80’s through the ’90’s. Alfalfa bales await their trip to the barn. Baynes Sound, in the middle distance, separates Denman from Vancouver Island with its spine of mountains. The local ferry crosses this sound regularly connecting residents via the community of Buckley Bay.
