Acarina procumbens, sometimes called the Trailing Snapdragon, is in the family Plantaginaceae, which along with several other families including the Scrophulariaceae, have been redone sharing ‘space’ with the Penstemon, having 5 petals at least partially fused. Another member of the order Lamiales and the Asterid group.
