Dahlia ‘Pearson’s Patrick’ an old favorite of mine, that I lost and have been unable to replace. The often large showy hybrid Dahlias are not always so obviously members of the Aster family with their composite flowers and the larger order Astrid, among the Crown Eudicots. It’s tiny apetalous disc flowers that comprise the eye of the flower is often crowded with its many modified petal of its ray flowers.
