Euphorbia martini DSCN0535

Euphorbia martini is part of the Euphorbia family which has variable flowers generally very small, without petals, single sex and held within vegetative bracts that mimic flowers. These are included in order Malpighiales and as such are part of the Rosids…and I have no reason why. The toxic latex common to these more or less completes their ‘alien’ nature.
