Podophyllum pleianthum IMG_5189.jpg Berberidaceae Ranunculales Eudicots

Podophyllum pleianthum a close relative of our three native groundcovers, Achlys triphylla, Vancouveria hexandra and its more southern cousin V. chrysantha. This Asian species is the most dependable for me in my heavy soil. It’s foetid scented flowers are clustered together beneath the large leaves. Berberidaceae Ranunculales Eudicots
