Cross-sectioning this ovary show the three chambers with the thicker membrane dividing them and a thinner membrane dividing the double row of seeds in each. Two of the black seeds show white endosperm within them as a result of my sectioning them with a knife. The other white ‘seed’ toward the upper right is an unfertilized one.
