I don’t know what this Bromeliad is, but it is statuesque, the inflorescence reaching well above my head. I took this shot at Burl’s ‘chateau’ at Rare Plant Research. He moves a lot of tropical exotics in and out of his greenhouses every year. This is what a lot of people think of when they picture a Bromeliad.
