These sandstone rocks ‘poke up’ almost randomly here. In the distance you can just see ‘Painted Rock’ a native American historical site with paintings that date back more than 3,000years ago. This is also a nesting site for hawks and visitation is limited. Painted Rock is accessed near the Goodwin Education Center near Soda Lake.
