In contrast, this is the inflorescence of my Musa sikkimensis from 2020 with its long purple bracts, which it sheds after revealing its concealed flowers. From its first appearance it ‘nods’ downward. It’s individual flowers show its incipient fruits already formed at the base of each flower.
