The very large leaves of Bismarckia nobilis, from Madagascar, has a palmate structure with many fused leaflets, their veins running from their tip to each leaf’s base at its hastula atop their stem. This one is in San Diego’s Balboa Park. I love this amazing palm. Check out Louis the Plant Geek’s page on it!
