
Here you see my Puya dyckioides hunkered in beneath my Oleander nerium ‘Hardy Red’ with its first flower scape up. It looks a little unkempt as i have not yet ‘combed’ it out with gloved hands to pull away old dead rosettes. They pull away freely, but the task can still be a little rough. That’s my Echium wildprettii which wintered over unscathed at left in the foreground.
